Traveling with the Diva.... A and A Travel Diva: Why Use a Travel Agent
Traveling with the Diva.... A and A Travel Diva: Why Use a Travel Agent: Travel expertise. Transportation, flight costs, location information and the inside scoop on the best places to dine and shop this is all...
Why Use a Travel Agent
Travel expertise. Transportation, flight costs, location information and the inside scoop on the best places to dine and shop this is all part of a travel agent’s job. Their years of experience and knowledge makes them know exactly where to look for exactly what you need. Take advantage of their expertise and let them help you plan an amazing trip.
Save time. A lot of time and research goes into planning a trip right. Finding the best hotel rates, looking at flight schedules and Goggling the sights to see can be a time-consuming process. Between work and family responsibilities, a lot of people don’t have the time to plan all their trip details. This is where a travel agent comes in.
Simplify your trip. You’re going on vacation, so you should truly go on vacation! There can be a lot of complications and stress when planning a trip as well as during a trip. Luckily, it’s some people’s jobs to make sure you can go enjoy your vacation!
In case of an emergency. The worst place to have an emergency is when you’re away from home. If anything goes wrong, whether it be a mistake with the hotel or a medical emergency that requires you to fly home early, it’s nice to have someone with the power and connections to “fix things” quickly. If something goes wrong, it’s helpful to have another person away from the situation who can help the situation!
In the end, our vote goes to working with a travel agent. Yes, travel websites are extremely convenient, but part of the excitement on going on a trip is relaxing and getting away from the routine. So why use a travel agent? It will make your entire trip relaxed and simplified by having someone plan it for you! We all know you can do it all yourself online. But the using a travel agent is the LUXURY of not having to!

Can I get a Passport if I have a Felony or Owe Child Support?????
Yes, at least in the United States. There is nothing in U.S. law that prevents most felons from receiving a passport -- unless the terms of parole, probation or sentencing deny the person a right to a passport or international travel.
A passport is a document that certifies a person's citizenship. It is not a guarantee of character or anything else; it is basically another form of ID. In fact, the passport form doesn't even ask the
applicant about criminal history.
Traditionally, there is just one type of felony that would prevent the person from getting a passport. A person is ineligible if he or she has "been convicted by a court or court martial of competent
jurisdiction of committing any act of treason against or some kind of terrorism.
A more recent U.S. law prohibits the issuing of a passport if a person crossed an international border to commit a felonious drug offense. (In some cases, a passport can be denied even if the offense was a
misdemeanor, provided the person crossed an international border to commit the crime.) That law can be found here:
Section 2714. Denial of passports to certain convicted drug
traffickers
http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/casecode/u…
Other than those exceptions, there is no provision in federal law for denying a passport for the mere act of having a felony record. It can be denied only if the person is subject to arrest or if the person is
prohibited by terms of parole or probation from having a passport.
A passport can also be denied if the individual has outstanding child-support payments of more than $5,000. But what sorry person lets there child support get $5,000 behind. Check the link below for more information.

I am in no way shape or form a member of the judicial system, immigration, or passport authority. This is merely information I researched!

Some Vacations Spots are not for the kids
Every vacation is not Kid Friendly! There should not be families with small children visiting places like South Beach Miami or New Orleans unless you already live in that area or you are visiting family members. These cities have limited kid friendly activities. These are spots you visit when you have a sitter to take care of the kids. I recently visited New Orleans with my 50 year old mother and 5 year old daughter. My brother who is a resident of the are was our host. We enjoyed wonderful dining at excellent eateries. The only place that my daughter really enjoyed was the aquarium. Everything else was completely for adults. On another vacation my family took a 5 day cruise out of Miami. We arrived a few days early to enjoy the city. We did have a chance to visit a Miami Heat game while there. However it was not a kid friendly place to bring a 5 year old. We went shopping and went to the pier and the beaches. However if you haven't been to MIA please be advised that thong bikini are a normal dress for walking down the street. My daughter asked my if their mommy know they were outside with their bottoms out. With that said it is our jobs as parents to make sure that we research the places we choose for vacation. We want our children exposed to different things to broaden there horizons not to scare the life out of them.
